🌳 A quick update on the FORSU project! 🌳
Today, our coordinating team from Helsinki had a meeting with Dr. Cora van Oosten, the Director of Capacity Development & Education at the Center for International Forestry Research and World Agroforestry (CIFOR-ICRAF). We discussed an important component of our FORSU project: training on forest landscape restoration.
We are pleased to announce that the Global Landscapes Forum (GLF), led by CIFOR-ICRAF, will offer six online training sessions to the FORSU project partners. These sessions aim to help our partner higher education institutions incorporate Forest Landscape Restoration principles into their courses. This initiative will enhance curriculum development and implement best practices to improve the outcomes of the FORSU project.
Additionally, our project partners will have access to various learning materials, courses, and toolkits from the Landscape Academy's Digital Campus. This is a great resource that will help expand our knowledge and application of sustainable practices.
Partnerships and collaborations like this are crucial. They bring together different strengths and perspectives that make projects like ours more effective. Why work in isolation when collaboration can amplify the outcomes and provide valuable learning opportunities from one another?
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to collaborate and learn together for a sustainable future!
