2nd day online training on pedagogy was held today (20 October 2023) under the ”Erasmus+ Higher Education Cooperation for Forest Landscape Restoration and Sustainable Livelihoods in Bangladesh and Vietnam (FORSU)” project. The main purpose of the pedagogy training is to build up the teaching capacity of FORSU partner university faculty members. The partners are from Bangladesh (Rangamati Science and Technology University, and Patuakhali Science and Technology University), Vietnam (Tay Nguyen University, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University), the University of Freiburg, Germany, and the University of Helsinki, Finland. In total 26 participants attended the 2nd session training, and participants learned about pedagogical principles: Constructive alignment-objectives, contents, methods, evaluation including designing objectives, designing of evaluation, and constructive alignment cycle. The training session was facilitated by Dr. Jani Holopainen, Adjunct Professor, the University of Helsinki, Finland, and a welcome speech was provided by Mr. Dipjoy Chakma, Coordinator of the FORSU project, and Adrian Monge, FORSU project, University of Helsinki, Finland. The project is Co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
